Orang Utan Week : Public Speaking Speech
This speech was prepared by Nur Liyana bt Johari, 2 Budi.
~*~
Title : Ways to Conserve Orang Utan
IF Charles Darwin came out with his theory that humans are the evolution of apes, I come out with the ways to conserve orang utan.
ASSALAMUALAIKUM and a very good morning I bid to all. I'am here today to complete my task which is delivering a speech entitled "Ways to Conserve Orang Utan'.
MEMBERS of the hall,
AS you all know, orang utan and apes are in a family. This species are facing the treats of extinction due to the humans activities such as logging and many more. But, the main factor that cause this to happen is the orang utan are losing their habitat due to the forest burning. How does this happen? Well, the answer is still same. Humans cause the orang utan to lose their habitat.
SINCE we are one to cause this problem, we are responsible to find some ways to conserve the orang utan from extinct. Here are some of my suggestions to all of you on ways to conserve orang utan.
FIRST of all, we can conserve this species by establish a sanctuary centre to protect them. Here, the orang utan are free from any threats and they are safe at here. The example of sanctuary centre is Orang Utan Sanctuary Centre, Sepilok.
NEXT, we can help to conserve the orang utan by enforcing the law. The authority should capture the person who hunts for the orang utan. This kind of person should be fined prisoned due to their irresponsible action.
LASTLY, the Ministry of Education also should play their role by organising a special education about the orang utan's at each school in Malaysia. The students are exposed to the orang utans' world by giving information about this species and the importances of conserving this species from extinct. Hopefully, the students will realise about the importances of conserving the orang utan.
THE orang utan are now a few steps toward extinction. If we did not take an early action to conserve them, we might lose the valuable species. So, what are you waiting now? Come and join me in conserving the orang utan from extinct.
